They are designed primaly for reliability and operate correctly even in the presence of severe fouling of the sensor. The system operates by measuring the dielectric constant of the material.
- Sensors are made to suit the application and are manufactured to the required length and process entry. A wide range of process entry fittings are available to suit any requirement.
- The sensor is intrinsically safe and can be used in hazardous areas together with suitable zener barriers. The electronic controller must be mounted in a safe area.
