Charis Technology has been providing unique and reliable solutions to foam control problems for more than 15 years.. The Charis systems allow foam detection and, liquid level control even in the presence of severe fouling thanks to their IMA Sensing® technology.
These measurements can be carried out for water-based liquid and foam applications (through impedance), non water-based materials e.g oil, resin, solvents. Liquid level controls and foam detections remain unaffected by temperature, pH, conductivity changes or pressure. Charis sensors can be used in hazardous areas with suitable zener barriers.
There's no floating or moving parts which could jam the system. No special cleaning is required. The liquid height measurement has a precision of less than 0,1mm.

Two major ranges :

  • SureSense : for a single point response for presence or absence of foam  or liquid
  • MultiSense : multiple parameters at the same time such as  liquid level, interfaces between phases in the material, analogue foam detection, foam density , and conductivity.
