The model LSC 614-1 is a microprocessor based online refractometer

Reference cell includes 4 main components :

  • Light source as a LED in the NIR region which allows a process temperature range from –25° to 150°C and a process line pressure up to 1000 PSIG (68 bars)
  • A sensing prism in sapphire, in direct contact with process
  • A double dedicated reference and measurement detector (eliminating drift even with LED decay)
  • Temperature sensor which compensates temperature variations of measured liquids and consequently stabilizes the refractive index.

The mounting wall IP65 transmitter incorporates usefull features such as :

  • Large graphic vacuum fluorescent display with a user friendly operating menu
  • 5 button touch pad for calibration and diagnostic information to be accessed easily
  • Smart Wash Technology
  • Measurements save function
  • RS 232 port for diagnostic
  • 1,3000 < I.R < 1,6000 Measurement range
  • 4.20 mA and 0-10 V outputs for N.I.R measurement ; 0-10 V output for process temperature
  • Dual alarm contacts for overrange and decay system indications
  • RS 485 connection for remote location (up to 3kms)
  • 5 years warranty system

Operates two separate and independent sensors simultaneously
Sensing head and transmitter may be used in hazardous areas (614 EP upon request)
