The fluIT Biosystems Consense® for R&D
The fluIT Biosystems Consense® is a new system featuring high-quality and robust confocal detection technology for the interpretation of fluorescence fluctuation signals.
The confocal detection unit is equipped with special lasers to illuminate a tiny femto-liter volume in the sample and excites fluorescent molecules diffusing through the focus. Emitted fluorescence light passes through high-quality optical filters and reaches an ultra sensitive detector that registers single photon coming from the sample.
That's the perfect system for molecular screening or concentration. It includes interaction analysis of antibody/antigen or DNA/protein or determinations of biomolecules in sub-nanomolar concentrations. (10-13 mole/liter as standard and up to 10-18 )
This system brings the advantages of confocal single molecule spectroscopy (unique signal-to-noise ratio) and microsystems technology (short reaction times, small sample volumes and ease of parallelization). |
